Christmas is coming!

I am excited, are you? I love everything about Christmas from shopping to wrapping to decorating trees! Seasonal décor lines the shelves in stores, trees are appearing in homes and the shopping season is officially started.   

I often get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the commercial season and find my heart and mind distracted from the true meaning of Christmas. I am striving to keep my focus Christ centered this Christmas with fewer gifts for our grandchildren while finding more ways to teach them of Jesus birth.

Jesus came once as a babe in a manger, but He is coming again as a groom calling His bride home. At the end of tribulation, He will return a second time riding His white horse as KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS. The babe Jesus has arrived to earth but His return for the church and Jesus’ return as King are yet to come. Bible prophesies predict these events so they will happen. May we be less distracted by the busy Christmas season and keep looking for our soon coming Savior.  Be ready, Jesus is coming soon!
