Satisfied Soul

O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; to see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Psalm 63:1-3

I have recently walked through a dry and thirsty land, spiritually speaking. My flesh longed to see God’s power and glory. I sought God often and early. I am reminded of our need for water when we are thirsty physically. Nothing else will suffice. Only pure water will quench our thirst. Only God can quench our thirsty soul when in a dry land. These places leave us uncomfortable and parched but seeking God. I began to realize that God is loving and kind and better than my life. He brought me to a new place of dependency and I began to praise Him. I am now experiencing a new anointing of the Holy Spirit. Fresh water now floods my satisfied soul. Praise God!!!
